Jim started Lappan's in 1976, as a lawn care business.  Spending over twenty five years in the green industry from a garden center, nursery, landscape design, landscape contracting, irrigation contracting, and paving brick contracting, the past has been an awesome ride.  With ambition and lots of long hours and hard work Lappan's has grown into a full service John Deere, Stihl  and Ariens dealsership supporting six families in Northern Michigan. 

In his spare time Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Barb, photography, spending time at his hunting camp. and gardening. His life is also shared with his seven grandchildren, six girls and his grandson Jax.

Jim 2 has been with Lappan's of Gaylord now for over 10 years.  Growing up in ther family business and strong mathimatical background, Jim is extreamly acitive in the day to day operation.  Whether you need to know about parts, service, or just about any other area of our business Jim can answer your every question.  Jim lives with his wife Tiahia, their daughters Sophia Margaret and Emma Jeanne, and their Boxer "Dollar".

Dave is our senior service techician at Lappan's.  Dave's expertice is the larger compact and utility tractors.  With a vast knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and much more, Dave has been a vital part of our service divisios success. 

Dave lives in Lewiston and enjoys fishing and spending time with his children as well as riding his Harley Davidson.

OPE Pickup and Delivery Manager - Tim Peshick  service@lappans.com

Tim is our pickup and delivery manager here at Lappan's.  Tim is in charge of all new equipment, as well as all service pickup and deliveries.    Tim knows what needs to get done and is a 'go to person' when things need to be done. During the summer Tim is working double time as he is also in charge of all bulk deliveries including soils, mulch and stone. 

Tim lives in Frederic; in his free time he enjoys spending time with family and  on-line gaming. Tim is a retired sargent first class active military, having served twenty one years in the Army.

Service & Parts Coordinator  - Kraig Sircely parts@lappans.com

Kraig joined Lappan's in May of 2008. Kraig has a degree in business management and a background in building trades.  Kraig spent seventeen years helping with his families small business in the Gaylord area. 

While employed at Lappan's Kraig will be assiting in coordinating service, inventoring parts, wholegoods, building, warranty claims,  building maintenance and new product set up. 

Kraig shares his life in Gaylord with his wife, Suzanne, and their three children, Nicholas, Samuel and Rebecca.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, bowling, woodworking, and camping with his family.

Jeffrey Latuzsek - Service Technician

Jeff joined the service team at Lappan's upon graduating from the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio in October 2008.  Jeff received an Associate of Applied Science in Diesel and Automotive Technology and Alternative Fuels.  Jeff has attended service schools to stay up-to-date.  We have welcomed his fresh outlook and willingness to continue his knowledge within the service field at Lappan's.

Jeff was born and raised in Gaylord and enjoys living in his home town.
