Jim started Lappan's in 1976, as a lawn care business.  Spending over twenty five years in the green industry from garden center, nursery, landscape design, landscape contracting, irrigation contracting, and paving brick contracting, the past has been an awesome ride.  With ambition and lots of work Lappan's has grown into a full service John Deere and Ariens/Gravely dealsership suporting six families in Northern Michigan. 

In his spare time Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Barb and playing computer games. His life is also shared with his seven grandchildren, six girls and his grandson Jax.  He also enjoys his yearly, hunting and fishing trips and spending time at his hunting camp.

Barb is the wife of Jim Lappan, Sr.   After 32 years in education, Barb is now working for Lappan's on a seasonal full time basis.  Barb enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, exercising, staying close to education and keeping the gardens beautiful at Lappan's of Gaylord and their home in Gaylord.

Jim 2 has been with Lappan's of Gaylord now for 10 years.  Whether you need to know about parts, service, or just about any other area of our business Jim can answer your every question.  Jim lives with his wife Tiahia, their daughters Sophia Margaret and Emma Jeanne, and their Boxer "Dollar". 

OPE Sales & Service: Eric A. Lappan     design@lappans.com

Eric has been involved with Lappan's from a very young age, and is capable of working in all areas of the business.  Like most family members Eric wears many hats at Lappan's, he oversees the advertising/marketing, is one of our best new equipment saleman and he shares the daily duties of servicing our parts and service department customers. 

Eric lives in Gaylord and shares his life with his two daughters Scout Ava and Reese Warner Lappan.

Dave is currently in his sixth year with Lappan's and holds the title of Service Manager.  With a vast knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and much more, Dave is a perfect fit for our company.  He lives in Lewiston and enjoys fishing and spending time with his children as well as riding his Harley Davidson.

OPE Pickup and Delivery Manager - Tim Peshick

Tim is our pickup and delivery manager here at Lappan's.  Tim is in charge of all new equipment, as well as all service pickup and deliveries.    Tim knows what needs to get done and is a 'go to person' when things need to be done. During the summer Tim is working double time as he is also in charge of all bulk deliveries including soils, mulch and stone. 

Tim lives in Frederic; in his free time he enjoys spending time with family and  on-line gaming. Tim is a retired sargent first class active military, having served twenty one years in the Army.

Service & Parts Coordinator  - Kraig Sircely

Kraig joined Lappan's in May of 2008. Kraig has a degree in business management and a background in building trades.  Kraig spent seventeen years helping with his families small business in the Gaylord area. 

While employed at Lappan's Kraig will be assiting in coordinating service, inventoring parts, wholegoods, building and grounds maintenance, new product set up and in our garden center nursery. 

Kraig shares his life in Gaylord with his wife, Suzanne, and their two children, Samuel and Rebecca.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, bowling, woodworking, and camping with his family.
