We are a seasonal business and make minor changes throughout  Michigan's four seasons.  Spring is the most active by far, with the annual start up of our landscape design service division, our garden center and nursery as wellas the outdoor power equipment division.  No season has the punch and rush as the spring time.

Summer calms a bit, but is still active throughout all the service and sales divisions.  Our display gardens during the summer months begin to show off with spectacular color.  A visit almost anytime from mid May through August can be enjoyable to any gardener or landscape enthusiast. We practice what we preach.

Fall starts yet another season at Lappan's, a season that slows to a pace that is comfortable, but is normally short lived, because we begin to set up for the winter season.  August and September starts our pre-season and preparing for Northern Michigan's winter.  This time of year has historically grown, both in sales and service. When the snow begins, we must have our customers ready, even those that wait until the last minute.

Winter . . . a season for Lappan's that is gratifying when the normal winter snows come to Otsego County and the surrounding counties.   

Lappan's is a family business currently employing four members of the founders five family members.  Our equipment service division employs four very knowledgeable individuals and the garden center and nursery and landscape services employs three talented persons.
